Christian Sexton – Vice President & Partner

Christian Sexton is the Vice President of Development and Partner of The Fortus Group. Mr. Sexton is responsible for overseeing new development and joint-venture opportunities consistent with the strategic direction of the firm.  By procuring quality opportunities and then facilitating outstanding development teams, Christian’s team prides themselves on their ability to see the big picture followed through to completion.  His experience in real estate analysis, investment and development play a key role in charting the future strategic direction of the firm.  A graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Christian has a well versed background in the real estate industry. Prior to joining the Fortus Group, he was employed with two privately owned Midwest developers where he participated in various capacities of over $100,000,000 in affordable multi-family and commercial developments. Mr. Sexton transited his career into real estate development after being employed as a Senior Accountant with a nationally recognized accounting and consulting firm. In this role, he specialized in consulting services related to multi-family housing, economic development and real estate investment.
